PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher in which two dishwashing sections provided in two, upper and lower stages are composed so as to effectively use. SOLUTION: The internal height of an upper washing tub 4 provided in an upper dishwashing section 2 is greater than the internal height of the washing tub 5 of a lower dishwashing section 3 and the structure of upper and lower dish baskets 6 and 7 and a washing control method are made to differ correspondingly thereto.
