A cellular flashlight including a cellular phone having a housing and a light unit extending from the housing of the cellular phone. The cellular flashlight further includes a power source for providing power to the cellular phone and the cellular flashlight. A power switch is connected between the light unit and the power source, wherein the power switch is moveable between a first open position disconnecting the light unit from the power source and a second closed position connecting the power source to the light unit, wherein when the power switch is in the second closed position, the light unit is illuminated to provide light to an area at which the light unit is directed. The cellular phone further includes a power source for providing power to the cellular phone and the cellular flashlight. The cellular flashlight further includes an adaptable flashlight unit installed within a cellular phone and operates off its own battery supply. |
