<p>A pneumatic tire where ride comfort is prevented from being impaired by vibration input to the tire in a normal state and run-flat durability is remarkably improved. The tire has a reinforcement rubber (6) having a crescent-like shaped lateral cross-section, arranged inside a sidewall section (2). One- layered cord reinforcement layer (9) made from steel cords with rubber coating is provided along a turned-up section (5a), around a bead core (4), of a carcass ply (5). The intervals between the steel cords of the cord reinforcement layer are set to a range of 2.5-20 times the diameter of a cord.</p> |
