The color display panel further comprises at least one data line (8) for passing a signal controlling the emission of light by the light-emitting cell to the first sub-pixel circuit. The sub-pixel circuit further comprises at least two active components (9, 10) for applying respective voltages to the cell (13) in dependence on respective reference voltages under control of the signal.</p>
