摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage device capable of appropriately storing electricity in correspondence with fluctuation in power generation voltage. <P>SOLUTION: When the power generation voltage Va of a thermoelectric element 2 is equal to or higher than a predetermined voltage value, power stepped up in voltage by a DC-DC converter 3 is stored in a battery 20. When the power generation voltage Va of the thermoelectric element 2 is not equal to or higher than the predetermined voltage value, power stepped up in voltage by the DC-DC converter 3 is stored in a capacitor 30. The power stored in the capacitor 30 is stepped up in voltage by the DC-DC converter 3 and stored in the battery 20. Thus, even if the power generation voltage of the thermoelectric element 2 is low and power cannot be stored directly in the battery 20, it can be stored through the capacitor 30.
