WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reasonably constructing a wastewater treatment apparatus having a constitution performing filtration treatment of water to be treated.

SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment tank 100 has a carrier packed part 162 for performing the filtration treatment of the water to be treated. The water to be treated flows from the bottom to top of the carrier packed part 162 during a normal operation; thereby the water to be treated is filtered. A reverse washing device 164 works during reverse washing operation; thereby the carrier packed part 162 is reversally washed. A sludge drawing means 169 works during sludge drawing operation, thereby sludge accumulated on the bottom of the carrier packed part 162 is discharged. The operation interval of the sludge drawing operation is below that of the reverse washing operation.
