PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device use management system by which an owner always grasps a use state and it is unnecessary to directly operate an electronic device even when changing use setting. SOLUTION: The electronic device use management system is comprised of the electronic device and a communication terminal. The electronic device comprises: a detection part which detects biometrics data of an operator; a storage part which stores correspondence relation between user data indicating a user and the biometrics data; a discrimination means for discriminating the operator based on the biometrics data and the user data; a device-side communication part which transmits the user data regarding the operator based on a result of the discrimination means to the communication terminal and receives control data regarding use from the communication terminal; and a control means for performing control of enable or disable of the electronic device based on the control data. The communication terminal comprises: a notification means for notifying the user data; an input part by which confirmation input of use propriety; and a terminal side communication part which generates the control data based on the confirmation input and transmits the control data.
