PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing socks by which individual variation of shapes corresponding to the legs of customers can efficiently be covered while being ready-made socks. SOLUTION: The method for designing two or more kinds of the socks having the different shapes in one foot-length size comprises setting size indexes having height sizes of calves and extended perimeter sizes of the calves stepwise, and combining the height size indexes of the calves, and the perimeter size indexes of the calves.
