PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for judging an ascospore aerobic bacterium, by which the ascospore aerobic bacterium can quickly and comprehensively be detected, to provide a kit for judging the same, and to provide an oligonucleotide capable of being suitably used therefor. SOLUTION: This oligonucleotide is characterized by containing a base sequence specific to the 16S ribosome RNA gene of the ascospore aerobic bacterium or a sequence complementary to the base sequence, wherein the specific base sequence is one of base sequences represented by the sequence numbers 1 to 6. The oligonucleotide can be used as a primer, when a nucleic acid prepared from a judging bacterium as a judgment target is used as a specimen to perform a PCR reaction using the specimen as a template. Thereby, it can be judged whether the judging bacterium is an ascospore aerobic bacterium, while using the amplification of a specific DNA fragment as an index. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
