PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic volume circuit which reduces a chip area by reducing a volume attenuation error and reducing the number of switches and the number of ladder resistors. SOLUTION: An electronic volume circuit 1 is composed of a first stage ladder volume resistor 2 having 15 ladders and switches respectively, a second stage ladder volume resistor 3 having 6 ladder resistors and switches respectively, an input terminal 4, an output terminal 5, a COM terminal 6, and an output load resistor RL. The first stage ladder volume resistor 2 and the second stage ladder volume resistor 3 are connected in cascade between the input terminal 4 and the output terminal 5, and the output load resistor RL is provided between the output terminal 5 and the COM terminal 6. The last stage of a ladder resistor R17b of the first stage ladder volume resistor 2 and the last stage of a ladder resistor R25 of the second stage ladder volume resistor 3 are connected to the COM terminal 6.
