PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonize the component of a power controlling unit provided with a cooling device. SOLUTION: The power controlling unit 10 has a plate cooling device 40 with its position in up and down direction adjustable to a case body 22. A mechanism for adjusting the position is composed of a fixed bracket 66, a movable bracket 62, a bolt 64 for adjusting the position, and a locking nut 70 or the like. With this construction, a power control equipment 12 can be favorably housed by adjusting the position of the cooling device 40 with the use of a position adjusting mechanism for a different size of the power control equipment 12 mounted on the cooling device 40.
