PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector system capable of performing high-contrast display even in a bright room. SOLUTION: The projector system comprises a projector for projecting video light and a screen serving as an object of projection of the video light. In this system, the amount of reflection light of the video light is adjusted directly on the screen by controlling the screen 40 in accordance with the brightness of the video. To be more precise, by constituting the screen 40 as a reflection-type or a scattering-type liquid crystal panel and controlling the alignment of liquid crystal molecules, permeability or scattering intensity of the panel is adjusted.
