PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device of an immuno-chromatographic test piece capable of coping with a plurality of casings having different external shapes, and properly reading a colored region formed on the immuno-chromatographic test piece held in each casing. SOLUTION: An immuno-chromatographic test apparatus TE1 has a casing C1, and the immuno-chromatographic test piece IM1 held in the casing C1. A cartridge CA1 corresponding to the immuno-chromatographic test apparatus TE1 is provided with a hollow H1. The hollow H1 is formed to correspond to the external shape of the casing C1, and the casing C1 is fitted into the hollow H1. The casing 1 is held in the cartridge CA1, by being fitted into the hollow H1. The cartridge CA1, wherein the immuno-chromatographic test apparatus TE1 is held is inserted from an insertion hole formed on the housing of this reading device, and introduced up to a position where the immuno-chromatographic test piece IM1 is irradiated with measuring light.
