PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a load-carrying platform for a saddle-type vehicle on which a large amount of loads can be loaded. SOLUTION: A forward-inclining load-carrying platform 8 is fixedly placed on the body unit and the rear frame of a saddle-type riding vehicle. The front end portion of the platform 8 is arranged to touch the flat face of a fuel tank 7, while the rear end portion of the platform 8 is extended to the upper position of a rear wheel 18. A seat post 46 is formed so as to saddle over the mid-point of the platform 8, and on this seat post a seat 9 is installed. In this arrangement, a supporting unit 50 designed to extend backward from the seat 9 is composed, with the rear end portion of the supporting unit arranged to be supported by a stand 51, which protrudes from a position behind the position of the seat post 46 on the platform 8.
