PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest structure of a simple toilet stool with which even a weak user can easily transfer when the user transfers to the simple toilet stool from the side direction since a handhold to be held to support the body is equipped, and a simple toilet stool. SOLUTION: In the armrest structure of the simple toilet stool 1 in which the armrests 4 are disposed at both sides of a main body of the toilet stool 2, the armrests 4 comprise lower short armrests 8 and upper long armrests 9 which are superimposed on the above lower short armrests 8, and the upper long armrests 9 can be lifted from the front, and the simple toilet stool 1 having the above armrest structure are provided.
