PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope-related article having superior visibility and having a colored part less liable to cause peeling, discoloring, or the like. SOLUTION: This endoscope-related article is characterized by having the colored part formed by a chemical color reaction. The colored part is functioned as an indicator. This endoscope-related article is used by being inserted in an endoscope, is a length measuring instrument for the endoscope having a long part and a length measuring part provided in the tip of the long part, and is provided with the indicator in a part of the outer surface of the length measuring part. The chemical color reaction is performed by applying coloring reagent to a molding having a reactive chemical structure, at least, in a part of the surface adjacency. The molding is composed mainly of a resin material. The reactive chemical structure is introduced into the molding by bringing in contact with solution which is formed by dissolving compound having the reaction chemical structure.
