PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope-related article easily recognizing an exchange time. SOLUTION: This endoscope-related article is provided with a colored layer formed by a chemical color reaction near the surface of a part to be worn away. The chemical color reaction can be performed by applying solution of coloring reagent to a molding having a shape corresponding to the endoscope-related article and having a reactive chemical structure, at least, in a part of the surface adjacency. The contact time of the molding with the coloring reagent solution is preferably 15-18 minutes. When the reactive chemical structure is -NH<SB>2</SB>, those whose major components are o-phthalaldehyde or ninhydrin can be used as the coloring reagent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
