<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower capable improving blowing performance, etc., and an air conditioner capable of realizing high heat exchange performance by providing the centrifugal blower without causing the enlargement of an operating noise and the enlargement of the height, etc. <P>SOLUTION: An axial flow impeller 30 is approximately coaxially arranged in an inner perimeter of the shroud 3 of the centrifugal impeller 1 to integrate these. A rotor 11 is installed in the centrifugal impeller 1, and a coil body 12 printed with a plurality of coils 13 on a base 14 is arranged so that the coils 13 face each projection 11b of the rotor 11 to form a motor 10 for rotationally driving the centrifugal impeller 1 and the axial flow impeller 30 integrally with the rotor 11 and the coil body 12. Thereby, since the hub 2 is made in a disc shape, and the motor 10 is not present in a suction side of the axial flow impeller 30, uniformity effect in a wind speed distribution of suction flow with the axial flow impeller 30 is exerted to the utmost limit to obtain the centrifugal blower which is low at blowing noise, and excellent in energy saving and quiet operability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
