<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor preventing fraudulent practices such as printing interruption by dynamically changing management of usable ports and unusable ports. <P>SOLUTION: A port that receives print data is allocated to a host computer in response to a print request from the host computer, and a URI (universe resource interface) showing the port to be the destination of the print data is notified to the host computer and managed in a port state management table. When connection for transmitting the print data from the host computer is performed, the port state management table is referred to and when a host computer is one that is allocated to the port to which the connection is performed, print processing is performed. The port is closed after receiving the print data and the port state management table is updated so as to release the allocation of the host computer and the port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
