<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display having satisfactory display quality while reliability of a display is secured and to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with a liquid crystal panel 10 constituted so that a liquid crystal layer 300 is interposed between a pair of substrates 100 and 200, polarizing plates PL1 and PL2 disposed on an outer surface of at least one substrate, and adhesive layers AD for making the polarizing plates PL1 and PL2 adhere to the outer surfaces of the substrates and the adhesive force of the adhesive layers AD has distribution in the in-planes of the polarizing plates PL1 and PL2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
