PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can mount certainly a brush at a predetermined position. SOLUTION: The motor includes a motor body contained in a frame 3. A brush part 33 having a carbon brush 51 brought into slidable contact with a commutator of the motor body is fixed to the frame 3 by a fixing plate 53. A positioning part 29 for positioning the fixing plate 53 to the frame 3 is projected to the frame 3. The fixing plate 53 is positioned with respect to the frame 3 by the positioning part 29, and hence the carbon brush 51 can be mounted certainly at the predetermined position to the frame 3.
