PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely check thumb-turn fraudulent unlocking operation. SOLUTION: This fraudulent unlocking operation preventive metal fitting 1 to a thumb-turn 7 of a door 6, is composed of a plate part 11 having a property of not easily opening a hole by a boring tool such as a drill, and forming a thumb-turn exposing hole part 13, and a rising wall-shaped thumb-turn surrounding part 12 continuously formed in the plate part. The fraudulent unlocking operation preventive metal fitting 1 fixes the plate part 11 and a part of a door inner surface 61 corresponding to this part by a double-sided adhesive tape and screw-fastening, by inserting the hole part 13 into a thumb-turn collar 73, when installed on the door inner surface 61. A potbelly shape is adopted as the hole part 13. In this case, the metal fitting is nipped by the door inner surface and the thumb-turn collar, by dropping the fraudulent unlocking operation preventive metal fitting 1 in a space with the thumb-turn collar 73 after being pressed to the door inner surface 61.
