PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a parts box and to perform drawings thereof by considering the working time, the loading efficiency, the investment efficiency or the like. SOLUTION: Basic information and parts information or the like is stored in the database 3. A CPU 8 designs and plats a parts box by using the basic information and the parts information set from the database 3 or a data input unit 2. In addition, the working time, the working time efficiency, the loading efficiency and the investment efficiency are calculated. By considering the working time, the loading efficiency, the investment efficiency or the like, an inexpensive and optimum parts box can be easily designed according to the size and the weight of the parts in a short time by anybody without relying on any expert.
