PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel cutting machine that prevents occurrence of a scratch on a surface of a cut sheet and occurrence of burr on a cut surface, has low costs, and is easily maintained, when a continuously conveyed web is cut into sheets in a conveyed state using the travel cutting machine. SOLUTION: The travel cutting machine has a circulating upper cutting edge with a crank mechanism and a lower cutting edge reciprocating horizontally synchronously with the upper cutting edge, and the web is cut into sheets with a constant length with the upper cutting edge and the lower cutting edge while the edges travel at a substantially the same speed as that of the web conveyed horizontally by driving the crank mechanism. A V-shaped shear angle is disposed in the upper cutting edge, and the crank radius (R) of the crank mechanism is specified from a crank angle when the web is started and finished to be cut by the upper cutting edge and the lower cutting edge so as to suppress the slack amount of the web.
