PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule type medical device introduction assisting tool for fixing conditions (the amount of fluid or the like) for swallowing a capsule type medical device and enabling a patient to easily swallow it even in a lying state. SOLUTION: The capsule type medical device introduction assisting tool 1 is an assisting tool for introducing the capsule type medical device 2 into a celom. The capsule type medical device introduction assisting tool 1 comprises a housing part 11 for housing the fluid 3 for swallowing the capsule type medical device 2, and a mounting part 12 communicated with the housing part 11 and capable of freely detachably attaching the capsule type medical device 2 on a tip side and ejecting the capsule type medical device 2 together with the fluid 3 housed in the housing part 11. Further preferably, the capsule type medical device introduction assisting tool 1 is provided with an into-mouth introduction part 13 for introducing the mounting part 12 into the mouth between the mounting part 12 and the housing part 11.
