SLAB YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a slab yarn having uneven thickness and resistant to the escape of the constituent fiber from the slab part and produce a completely natural slab yarn by a conventional apparatus without using a new apparatus or spending high conversion cost. SOLUTION: The method for producing the slab yarn comprises the 1st sliver-forming step to pass a spun yarn and cotton wool through a carding machine at the same time, the 2nd sliver-forming step to pass the 1st sliver through a drawing frame, a step to form a roving by passing the 2nd sliver through a bobbin and fly frame and finally a step to pass the roving through a ring-spinning frame.
