METHOD FOR RECORDING A TERMINAL IN A CELLULAR RADIOCOMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND CORE NETWORK COMMUTATOR FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD

The cellular system comprises a group of core networks (1-3) and a radio access network (4) shared between the core networks of the group. In order to record a radio terminal (7), the inventive method comprises transmission of a terminal recording request to the shared radio access network, relayed to a first core network of the group. If the first core network is not suitable for recording the terminal, a request acceptance message is returned to the terminal via the shared radio access network, said acceptance message including an indication of the resources of the network proper to a second core network of the group. These network resources are indicated upon transmission of a later message from the terminal. The shared radio access network examines the network resources indicated for routing the later message to the second core network.
