<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurence of filming on a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus in which the photoreceptor (1) is charged by a brush charger (2), and after exposure and development, transfer to a transfer medium (7) is carried out, and toner remaining on the photoreceptor after the transfer is recovered by the brush charger simultaneously with charging, AC bias is applied to the brush charger and the brush charger is driven in the same direction as the photoreceptor with a peripheral speed difference of <10%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
