<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently producing a composite material comprising apatite, having functions such as bio-compatibility, synostosis ability, specific substance adsorption ability, and catalyst supporting ability, and excellent in peeling resistance without using a special apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An apatite nucleating agent consisting of calcium phosphate is fixed on the surface of a substrate of which at least the surface is hydrophilic, and then, the substrate is brought into contact with a supersaturated calcium phosphate solution to produce the apatite composite material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
