<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which accurately and legally calculates and manages royalties on the basis of the quantity of operation of manufacturing equipment or the like when manufacturing patented products or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Manufacturing equipment A manufactures patented products and is provided with a counter Ac for displaying the number of times of operation and a clock At. Loyalty management system B comprises the counter Ac, the clock At, a web camera B1 for photographing the operating part of manufacturing equipment A, and a recording computer B2 capable of exchanging information including images with the web camera B1 via the Internet I. Image information photographed with the web camera B1 is transmitted to and stored in the recording computer B2, is digitized by a character recognition means provided to the recording computer B2 and is used for calculation of royalties.
