<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, for the calculation of a doctor's fee, a distinction between an initial visit and a subsequent visit is left to an operator's discretion, and an initial visit fee and a subsequent visit fee are confused in busy counter work. <P>SOLUTION: A medical cost calculation apparatus comprises a disease name input means for inputting data on a patient's disease name, a disease name data storing means for storing information on the input disease name and an outcome related to the disease name, a determining means for referring to the disease name data in the disease name data storing means to determine whether or not there is a disease name whose outcome is not registered, and a calculating means for calculating either an initial visit fee or a subsequent visit fee according to the determination result of the determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
