This shift control device is provided with a deceleration determining means for determining deceleration (step 31), and a quick deceleration control carry-out means for carrying out the quick deceleration control for increasing the target number of revolution step by step when deceleration determined by the deceleration determining means is large, and thereafter, for increasing with the predetermined grade, and thereafter, for reducing with the predetermined grade based on the requested deceleration (steps S2-S7).
