PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible polyurethane foam having an improved sound-absorption property in the low frequency range. SOLUTION: In this method for preparing the flexible polyurethane foam, (E) a raw material composition comprising (A) a high molecular weight polyoxyalkylene polyol, (B) an organic polyisocyanate compound, (C) a foaming agent and (D) a catalyst is foamed in a sealed die. At least a part of (A) the high molecular weight polyoxyalkylene polyol is (a) a polyoxyalkylene polyol having an average hydroxide group number of not less than 2, a molecular weight (Mc) per a hydroxy group of 1,800-2,800, and a total unsaturation value (USV) of not more than 0.08 meq/g. The gas permeability of the flexible polyurethane foam foamed to be 26 mm in thickness using (E) the raw material composition is not more than 0.085 m<SP>3</SP>/min. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
