PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting apparatus for easily organizing a disaster-preventing system by using a radio tag. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes the radio tag T and a detecting device 10. The radio tag T comprises a lock switch SW1 and a switch SW2 for detecting the opening/closing of a window M. A tag antenna 2 is arranged on the glass part 5 of the window M. When the window M is closed and locked in an initial state, an antenna circuit is on. The radio tag 1 normally transmits a response signal in response to the question signal of the detecting device 10. When a suspicious action such as the opening movement of the window M, the unlocking motion of a lock 8, or the breaking of the glass part 5 is performed, the switches SW1, SW2 are operated or the antenna circuit is disconnected. Thus, the antenna circuit is turned off so as to block the response signal from the radio tag 1. The detecting device 10 outputs a detection signal, and then, various kinds of equipment such as an alarm device or a display device perform a necessary operation. Thus, alarm is reported to a security company or the portable telephone of a user, etc. When the user forgets to lock the window M, it is detected and can be displayed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
