PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreader mounted on a rice transplanter and functioning to spread an agrochemical, fertilizer or the like in parallel with rice transplanting work, preventing agrochemical( fertilizer )'s nonuniform spreading through preventing switch malactuation associated with the reciprocating motion of a seedling stand. SOLUTION: The agrochemical spreader mounted on a rice transplanter includes a spreading mechanism for spreading an agrochemical or fertilizer in parallel with rice transplanting work by the rice transplanter mounted with the seedling stand S subject to reciprocating motion and a spreading control mechanism functioning to make the spreading mechanism intermittently spread the agrochemical or fertilizer. In this spreader, the spreading control mechanism comprises a rotatably supported roller 25 whose circumferential surface is butted on the seedling stand S, an actuation incentive unit 28 disposed on the circumferential surface 25a of the roller 25, a switch unit 27 functioning to detect the approach of the actuation incentive unit 28 and a control unit functioning to actuate the spreading mechanism on detecting the actuation incentive unit 28 by the switch unit 27.
