The stress relief system comprises a chair (1) or bed with massaging components (2), e.g. rollers. A light source (3), e.g. a color gel lighting system, and a sound source (4), e.g. a loudspeaker, are mounted near the chair. A control unit (6) for the chair and sources is connected to the output of e.g. a CD player (5) and controls the massage elements in relation to the signals it produces.
