FIELD: agriculture, in particular, method used in threshing equipment for threshing of leguminous crops and grass cereals. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves attaching additional detachable underwhips before underwhips provided with channeled whips; closing channeled surface of whips with tape-shaped layers, which are to be replaced after wear above admissible extent owing to intensive employment during threshing. Replacement of worn working surfaces is provided by disconnecting attachment of tape-shaped layers from drum and moving tape-shaped layer in plane of rotation of drum, with following attachment of new tape-shaped layer to drum. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced labor intensity for displacement of working surface of threshing members. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg
