<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand position detection method and position correction device for wave correction clock capable of indicating the present time and detecting and correcting the hand position. SOLUTION: A wave correction clock obtains detection signal indicating hand position by the operation of gears of a second hand drive means 6 and a minute hand drive means 8 for indication correction. To obtain the detection signal, a second hand is terminated for a while. The shielding of the detection light from the luminous element of the detection means by the gear of the second hand drive means 6 is avoided and so a state easily detecting the positions of hour hand and minute hand from the operation of the gears of the minute hand drive means 8 is realized.</p> |
