Hand-held massage apparatus

The implement has a drive (3) and a self-contained power supply (4). A guide member (5) oscillates when driven by the drive. A massage head (7) is fixed to the guide member. The massage head is preferably fixed eccentrically to the guide member. The drive and the power supply are integrated in a housing (2) forming a handle. An independent claim is included for a massage head.
