A metal downlight support bracket has back plate 10, an aperture 14 and longitudinal flanges 12. Aperture 14 accommodates a light source and is provided in the centre of the plate 10. The size of the hole in the aperture is increased to accommodate light fittings of different sizes by twisting and snapping off removable lugs (16, figure 3). The lugs may take the form of complete rings surrounding the aperture or may be divided into quadrants. |
