<p>A plasma display panel (PDP) with a novel electrode structure. An integrated bus electrode located outside of the display region is connected to many image display electrodes. This integrated bus electrode is designed to be wider and thicker in order to reduce electrical resistance and thus reduce the generation of Joule heat in the periphery regions of the PDP. This integrated bus electrode is flush with the edge of the display and is connected to a flexible printed cable which connects to drivers. Alignment marks are placed on the integrated bus electrode to locate exactly where the flexible printed cable attaches to the integrated bus electrode.</p> |
