A nutritional additive for animals comprising D,L-methionine and D,L- 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-thio-butanoic acid : Independent claims are included for (1) A foodstuff for monogastric animals comprising a nutritional base and the claimed nutritional additive; (2) a method of preparation of a pre-mix for animal feed by adding the claimed additive to a nutritional additive; (3) a method of preparing an animal foodstuff by adding the claimed additive to a nutritional base.
