<p>The procedure for simulating the drawing of a random value in a game of chance includes subjecting target zones (Ci) to a randomly modulated electric field (E). A target zone is selected when the amplitude of the electric field is greater than or equal to the threshold value. A random value (ai) is then allocated using a function of the target zone address (Ci). The procedure for simulating the drawing of a random value in a game of chance uses an electrical system. In a first stage (A), each target zone (Ci) of a set of target zones is given a distinct address (i), in relation to a central zone (O0). In a second stage (B), at least one of the target zones (Ci) is subject to an electric field (E) with respect to the central zone, and the magnitude of this electric field is modulated randomly (C). This variation extends above and below a set threshold. In the next stage (D), a target zone is selected when the amplitude of the electric field between the target zone and the central zone is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
