<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can carry out a simple and efficient setting work of a printing number of sheets of a desired image among a plurality of index images, and to provide a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An index print 50 is printed with a total of 16 thumbnail images 51 of 4 by 4 in length and breadth directions to a printing sheet P along with one-character alphabetical key displays 52 different for every thumbnail image 51 immediately therebelow. The user selects the thumbnail image 51 of the image desired to be printed and designates the printing number of sheets by pressing by an amount of the printing number of sheets with the use of a character key of a keyboard 3 corresponding to the key display 52 below the image. After looking at a printing number setting guide screen 53 displayed at a liquid crystal display part 6 and making sure setting of the designated printing number of sheets, the user instructs printing by pressing a printing key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
