PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize speedup of a halftone processing and a color changing processing while a good rubbing resistance of dots of a colored ink formed on a printed image is ensured.

SOLUTION: Colorless halftone data D1 expressing a forming condition of dots of a Cl ink (non-colored ink) made to a specified pattern corresponding to a specified number of pixels are stored in a storing region M1. When the colorless halftone data D1 are joined to colored halftone data D2 in accordance with a position where dots of a colored ink are formed, halftone data D3 are formed by joining the colorless half tone data D1 regardless of the values of gradation data corresponding to the amount of use of only the colored ink. A control in which the printed image is printed by forming the dots of the colored ink and the C1 ink by a printer (printing apparatus) 20 using the formed halftone data D3, is performed.
