<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling system that enables a manufacturer to easily recover a personal computer and a display device from a user. <P>SOLUTION: When an application procedure is started, a user is requested to specify equipment to be discarded, and when equipment to be discarded is specified, it is determined whether or not the size of the equipment exceeds standards for weight and size of a home delivery company which transfers the equipment to be discarded from the user. It is next determined whether the handling cost has already been paid or will be paid by transfer, credit card or the like.
