<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material ink for use in forming an organic layer excellent in heat resistance, its selecting method and an organic device including the organic layer excellent in heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for selecting the organic material ink for forming the organic layer excellent in heat resistance, the organic material ink having a discontinuous point accompanying a sudden intensity change is selected in the spectrum data with the elapse of time in a drying process measured using a spectrum measuring instrument utilizing a slab-shaped light guide passage.
