<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety controller that ensures reduced wiring and simplified system configuration, and a system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The safety controller comprises first and second CPUs 17 and 18 as control parts for controlling safety outputs to safety output control objects such as magnet contactors and an internal safety output for logical connection to another safety controller, according to safety inputs from an input device such as a safety door switch and an internal safety input for logical connection from another safety controller, and gives semiconductor outputs as the plurality of safety outputs and internal safety output.
