HYBRID VEHICLE DRIVING GEAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the cooling efficiency of a motor without enlarging a driving gear. SOLUTION: A power-generation motor 22 driven by an engine is stored in a power-generation-motor casing 29 having a connecting surface 29c at one end. A gear casing 27 is assembled to the casing 29 so as to butt the connecting surface 29c of the casing 29. A protruding portion 29d is formed on the connecting surface 29c of the casing 29. A recessed portion 27b that is fitted to the protruding portion 29d is provided on the connecting surface 27a of the gear casing 27. A water jacket 29b that guides cooling water into the casing 29 is formed in the casing 29 by widening its width to the side of the gear casing 27 from the connecting surface 29c of the casing 29. This structure increases the cooling efficiency of the motor 22 without enlarging the driving gear 10 in the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
