PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter fastening mechanism with which a filter is easily fastened and fixed in a filter installation face even in the case of a casing having a flat and deep shape and putting in and off of the filter is smoothly carried out. SOLUTION: An operation shaft 13 expansive from an insertion port of a casing 2 in the depth direction is attached to an outer frame member 8 of a filter 1 and a pushing piece 15 which moves up and down while being interlocked with a cam 12 of the operation shaft 13 and which is pushed to a guide plate 4 for filter storage above the outer frame member 8 is installed, so that the filter 1 can easily fastened and fixed in the installation face 6 by pushing repulsing force and putting in and off of the filter 1 can smoothly be carried out even in a casing 2 having a flat and deep shape by pushing the pushing piece 15 to a guide plate 4 by rotating the operation shaft 13 after the filter 1 is inserted into the filter storing space formed between the filter installation face 6 and the guide plate 4.
